KETISHA WILLIAMS - SET TO REPRESENT TRINIDAD & TOBAGO @ MISS COMMON WEALTH INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT NOV 10-15, 2014 - LONDON UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF NATIONAL DIRECTOR - Sohan Badall Ketisha Williams is a final year Theatre Arts Major student at the University of the West Indies, Trinidad. She attended Bon Air High School where she discovered her love for the arts. Her favourite quote being “Love art in yourself and not yourself in art!”- Stanislavski. Ketisha is an aspiring actress/director and hopes to one day be able to travel the world using the arts to educate young people on various topics. She currently resides at Macoya Gardens, Trincity. Some of her Professional Accomplishment thus far are:- Performed at the National Academy of the Performing Arts and Naparima Bowl, Technical Team leader and Costume Design Assistant in “Nation Dance the Pilgrimage”(Nation wide tour including Tobago) produced by the Department of Creative and Festival Arts UWI, Performed at Queens Hall with Must Come See productions in “HAIRSPRAY the Broadway Musical” (June-July 2012) and “Crazy for You the Broadway Musical” (June-July 2013) , Performed at Little Carib Theatre in “Maria Antonia”-an Afro-Cuban Play (one of lead roles 2013), Produced and Directed “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at the Learning Resource Centre(LRC) Auditorium (November 2013). Ketisha is also currently in the process of directing Moulin Rouge a musical for next year and is a Professional Model. On May 24th, 2014 Ketisha Tisha Williams competed at the prestigious Miss Global International Trinidad & Tobago 2014 Pageant where she Placed 2nd Runner up and will now Represent TNT internationally at the Miss Common Wealth Pageant in London Come November 2014.
