KFOR will be at the stadium tomorrow at 3pm to interview current Pride students about the current situation. PLEASE DO NOT BE TEMPTED BY THIS. President Boren is opening his doors to Pride members to voice concerns at the same time tomorrow. If you have the time to speak to the media, you have the time to speak to Boren. This is a MUCH more effective tactic than contributing to media drama! A wise man told me that the worst way to influence the influential is to publicly embarrass them. Yes, the open letter got Borens attention, but it was reckless and pissed him off. Believe me, Im as happy as anyone else that the gag order has officially been lifted, hence this public post. If you want to continue to apply pressure, do it in the right way. Were playing a politicians game here, and its a game David Boren has much more skill in than any of us. In everything you do, continue to think before you act. Theres nothing wrong with speaking to the media, if thats what you believe to be the right thing to do, but DO NOT sacrifice a powerful statement for a loud one.
