KING LEOPOLD 11 KILLING OF 10.000 AFRICANS IN CONGO Leopold II was the second King of the Belgians (BELGIUM), and is chiefly remembered for the founding and exploitation of the Congo Free State a private project undertaken on his own behalf. He used Henry Morton Stanley to help him lay claim to the Congo, an area now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo Some of the money from this exploitation was used for public and private construction projects in Belgium during this period. ONLY 90 YEARS AGO, king Leopold II of Belgium massacred 10 million Africans in the Congo. The cutting off of limbs is actually a product of Western savagery, which was first instituted by king Leopold of Belgium during his genocide which killed over 10,000 million Congolese (the worst genocide of the 20th century)
