KNOWING YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE Today I want to share with you the knowledge and wisdom have acquired in regards to knowing your purpose in life. Most of us are mostly confused by which path to take when its comes to serious decision such career and marriage. If a person does not know his/her purpose they always make mistakes. That is why you find so many people failing in life. Very few people in life have succeeded cause of knowing what their purpose is in this life. Each and every human being has a PRIMARY PURPOSE which is similar to all of us and SECONDARY PURPOSE, which vary with each one of us. PRIMARY PURPOSE. These are the most important purpose for us to fulfill they are five in number. Because they will help you learn who you really are. 1. To worship God: this is the major purpose of our creation, we are all meant to worship God is true and in spirit. God is a kind God who is pleased with our worship. Worship is not just sing but worship is how we live our life. When you are employed and you are doing your work whole heartedly that worship. When you help a stranger that is worship. 2. To love God: when you make God your best friend He will never disappoint you, if your human friend can encourage you, help you out, try to think what God can do for you. He is our provider comforter etc 3. To love one another: loving one another is also our basic purpose cause where love prevail no harm will prevail, have you ever asked yourself why you are told to love one another like Christ loved the church and also love your neighbor as you love yourself. Cause this people are the closest to you and when you start harming them and hating them they will venture in your weakness and destroy. 4. To be like Christ(Jesus): if you study Christ life it’s a very great example, He was very humble yet He was the Son of God, He had a servant heart and that what most of us human beings lack, He knew the only way to conquer Satan was through God’s words which most of human beings don’t understand. He was true in His teaching, among all he was not discriminative like most of us Christians who avoid sinner not knowing that we were also sinner. 5. Spreading the gospel: it’s so funny that most of us fear sharing the word of God with other people. Am that person every where I go I share God’s truth be in at the shoe maker shop, salon by a stranger at the road. I do not preach bt I share God’s word. I came to realization that there are many doctrines in our church that limits God manifestation in our life. Therefore I would encourage most of you to read the bible well so that you are not mislead and also ask God to send you holy spirit who will guide you and make you understand his word. SECONDARY PURPOSE This is what most of us really need to take note of, that all of us have different ministry to serve, when you hear the word ministry, most of you thought of the church, no! Ministry is your calling, you can be called to be a doctor, teacher, lawyer, cook, farmer, accountant, manager etc, but most of us are frustrated because we do not do what we are called to do. How can you know your calling? There are different ways of knowing your calling. Your calling is what you are talented in, something that you do and you get contented and also at ease while doing it. Most of us will ask me how I can know my passion. You do not need to be told what your calling is, for it’s in built For example, before I came to learn what I am now sharing, I was so distressed and I kept on wondering where my calling is I felt life had frustrated me enough and I was looking at a different approach to face life, I went around the asking people close to me what my strength was, most of them told me, that I knew how to handle people of character, therefore my strength was in Public Relation, but when I did some self searching I realized that my PR character was to help out people and offer advise where I can through God’s Guidance. Some of us are so stubborn to know what our callings are; in this case God will put so much pain in your life in order for you to know your purposes. Many are the people who have been frustrated with their boss that they resign and start their own business and prosper. In summary you can know your purpose through the word SHAPE which stands for Spiritual gift: every person is given a spiritual gifts and this also includes talent Heart: the heart will help you know your desire and help you out to figure what you want Ability: you can not struggle in succeeding in life if you have the ability to do your work Personality: your personality will lead you to what your purpose in life is. Experience: will give you the skill to succeed but most of all painful experience will most reveal your purpose. Hope you have learnt something that will help you out in life. A million questions is on the day of judgment when God ask you, I gave you a talent and what did you do with it? What will be your answer. Stay blessed
