KSP Participates In Nationwide Click It or Ticket Campaign (Henderson, Ky #CVERegion1) – The Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement division will be participating in a nation wide Click It or Ticket Campaign beginning Memorial Day weekend. The campaign helps bolster seat belt use through enforcement at both safety checkpoints as well as saturation patrols. Last year, 638 people lost there lives in accidents on Kentucky roadways. 278 of those people were not wearing seat belts. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, motorists are 75 percent less likely to be killed in a rollover crash if they are buckled up properly. The Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement division will be patrolling around the clock throughout the Click It or Ticket campaign, if you are unbuckled - day or night - expect a ticket. kentuckystatepolice.org/cve/regions/press/2014/cve1_pr05_13_14.html
