Kanye West’s new album “Yeezus” is scheduled for release Tuesday but the outspoken rapper’s global hype-building campaign is scheduled to light up the skies of Detroit tonight. According to locations plotted on a map on his official web site, kanyewest, West’s larger-than-life audio-visual “Projections” promotion will include five stops throughout the Motor City beginning at 9:30 p.m. at the Michigan Science Center. ■ No. 1: 315 E. Warren Ave. Michigan Science Center. 9:30 p.m. ■ No. 2 166 Witherell Street, Detroit Opera House. 10:30 p.m. ■ No. 3 480 Plaza Drive MGM Grand Detroit 11:30 p.m. ■ No. 4 515 Shelby 12:30 a.m. ■ No. 5 463 Grand River Ave. 1:30 a.m. Last month West made a big splash with the music and film projections when he debuted “New Slaves,” the first single from “Yeezus,” on the sides of buildings in 66 different locations across the country, Europe and Australia. Although its official release is still days away, “Yeezus” was leaked to the Internet Friday. At a New York City listening party Tuesday, West confirmed that “Yeezus” collaborators include Daft Punk, Chief Keef, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and veteran producer Rick Rubin.
