Kara update: She went to the vet yesterday and everything is looking great. We should not have to go back. The bone is healing just like it should be. She has lost 7 lbs so far which is great. She needs to lose about 6 more lbs. Losing this weight will help with taking weight off her other back leg which is actually worse then the leg she had surgery and will help with the arthritis she has. She can go on 10 minute walks 3 times a day. We took her to the vet, Petsmart and on a walk. She was a bit stiff last night so we think maybe 2 walks a day will be good for now. Every two weeks we can add 5 more minutes to her walks. Thank you everyone.
