Katie Plunkett-Long We have had a very unexpected weekend. We were discharged from Ronald Mcdonald on Thursday. Daves grandmother passed away Friday morning. We celebrated Maggies birthday Saturday. Attend calling hours and funeral Sunday and Monday. Had a clinic appointment Monday morning. Some of Noahs test results came back from last Thursday. His heart has declined just a little bit since his last echo. Its still in the normal range but on the low side. Noahs MRD, amount of residual disease came back at 0.1%. Which means that their is slight evidence of cancer. Monday night we started an oral chemo agent to help his body fight this 0.1% off. We also will be going in Thursday outpatient to get an extra boost of Maggies stem cells that had been stored from our transplant date. Praise God we had these extra cells to use at this time. Last night Noah got sick from the new chemotherapy medication. Please please continue to pray for his healing and recovery. We are very hopeful that adding these two measures to his regimen will put him back to an MRD of 0.1%.
