Katongo is a house boy who drinks his Boss wine with impunity then adds water to cover his tracks. His Boss became suspicious & decided to buy pasties (a French wine that changes color if u add water; just like dettol). Unaware of this, Katongo, drank the wine as usual & topped it up with water. Immediately he added water, the wine became milky & he knew he was in trouble. When the Boss came back & saw the changed wine, he knew he had nailed Katongo. Katongo knowing he was in trouble decided to stay put in the kitchen when his boss came home. The Boss having told his wife what he observed now swung into action. Katongo!, he called from the sitting room. He answered: Yes, Boss. Who drank my wine?. Katongo: No answer. The Boss asked again: still no answer. Then the Boss went to the kitchen to meet him there: Are u insane or what? Why is it that when I call, you say yes boss but when I ask you a question u dont answer? Katongo replies, hmmm boss when u are in the kitchen u don’t hear anything, except your name Is that so? asked the boss, Okay, go to the sitting room and stand next to my wife,. I’ll be here in the kitchen & then you ask me a question Katongo accepted. When his boss was in the kitchen he shouts: Boss. Yes, Katongo Boss answers. Katongo then asks, Who goes into the maids bedroom when ba madam is not at home? No answer. He shouts again: Boss, I said who sneaks into the maids room when madam is not in the house? No answer. The Boss runs back from the kitchen shouting Wonders shall never end! Katongo is right. When one is in the kitchen, one does not hear anything, except ones name. The wife now very angry, interrupts, thats not true. Its a lie! Without argument Katongo asks the madam to go into the magic kitchen to be tested. She agrees but fuming with anger. Katongo asks madam, Whos juniors biological father? Me or the Boss? Madam rushes out of the kitchen saying This kitchen needs to be renovated. One really can’t hear the question....
