Katsiaryna got the Audience Award for the film The Day Before)))) We shot it in the village Babichi, Chechersky area not far from Zalessie home village of my mother, where I spent the summers of my childhood; not far from Berdazh the first settlement of people in Belarus; four kilometers away from the evacuation zone appeared after the Chernobyl accident. The characters starred in the film were simple villagers, mostly children. Three important things: 1 In fact only in Irkutsk it was able to make the first normal screening of the film. In Belarus it was a terrible lobby of the Central cinema. 2. It was difficult to make this film. 3 The festival People and Environment has prepared a very interesting and serious program. For me personally, this is an important and special film.
