There is no doubt that human trafficking constitutes another form of gender-based violence, having regard to the fact that mostly women and children fall victim to the offence. We therefore make it our priority to also reduce drastically, the prevalence of human trafficking in all its forms, in our integrated approach to ensuring gender equality and equity, as well as in fulfillment of our mandate to protect children and the vulnerable. - Hon.
