THE BRUTAL TRUTH Angel Paws needs foster carers. We have lots leaving and next to none coming on board to help. The majority of our animals come from vets, councils and abusive homes, they have very limited time left. If we dont have carers we can not help them, there is just no way. THE LUCKY ONES We wont pretend that the majority of our animals are gorgeous, little fluffy things, it is in fact quiet the opposite. We take the animals no one else wants, the bitzers and the domestics, the brindles and the tabbies. Alot of these animals have never been loved or been given any training. They need compassionate carers who are willing to work with them in finding a family. It is true that most of our animals are not nearly as desirable as a maltese terrier or a rag doll and they will likely stay in our care for months and months regardless of how amazing their personalities are or how much training they have. Does this mean they deserve less of a chance at a happy life then any other pet? SAYING GOODBYE We arent going to lie, its never easy. You take these animals in as part of your family and then you have to say goodbye to them. Youll be sad, your kids will be sad, the animal will be sad, everyone will be! In a couple of days though when the kids are begging for a new dog or kitten and your ex foster is living the dream with their new family it will all be worth it, we promise. Just remember that you arent just saving the life of that animal, but also the one that will take its place next.
