Keith Johnson Named as Promoter for The Wick 338! Southwick MX Park, LLC is pleased to announce a new promoter has been chosen for The Wick 338! Long time New England and former AMA and CMRC Pro motocross racer Keith Johnson will take over the day-to-day operations of the legendary Southwick motocross facility and apply his vast knowledge and experience of motocross racing to lead The Wick 338 to the next level. Johnson, a native of Massachusetts, first raced at Southwick in 1977. He won over 60 New England championships between 1977 and the present, including 12 NESC Expert championships. Keith turned pro in 1988 and raced the AMA Pro Motocross series for 16 years earning a top 100 National number each year with #29 being his lowest number. Johnson also has several International wins to his credit. Between 2004 and 2006, Johnson headed north to contest the Canadian CMRC MX1 Pro series and finished 6th, 4th and 7th overall respectively, riding for the OTSFF Factory Suzuki Team in 2005. Keith is a seven time Loretta Lynns national champion winning both the Junior 25 Plus and 35 Plus Vet classes in 2008 and 2009. In addition he has six titles from Lake Whitney, TX and Oak Hill, TX. Today, Keith rides for fun and enjoys road/mountain bicycle riding and golf. Keith brings his passion of motocross and the strong work ethic that brought him so much success in the sport, to return The Wick 338 to a premier motocross racing destination in the Northeast as well as GP style off-road races. He also shares the vision of Southwick MX Park to host a future round of the AMA Pro Motocross Nationals at The Wick 338.
