Keri McCrorey God has a way of showing you his power, grace and mercy. I struggle daily with showing/having mercy on people who have come against my family especially when what they have said are lies and half truths. Although I know the battle is not mine to fight and over the past 11 months I have wanted to confront these issues but every time I decided to pick up the phone to respond to the lies and half truths God has checked my spirit and said Be Still and I have obeyed him. However, my problem has been true forgiveness. Today, I forgive. As of today I will show mercy and compassion toward people. Today,(even though one of them continues to spread lies and half truths) I will put it in Gods hands and let him fight the battle for me. Today, I choose to pray for my enemies (those who months ago I would have entrusted with my life and the life of my children). Today!!!! Great sermon today at The Shepherds House. Thank you Lord for you Holy Spirit! Thank you Lord for your words of comfort and encouragement. Thank you Lord!!
