King of Australia Welcomes Ellerfield Financial Planning. Media Release by Motorsports Promotions Australias biggest 4 Cylinder Race the Cols Fiberglass King of Australia just got bigger with Ellerfield Financial Planning sponsoring Saturday nights Preliminary final. The King of Australia format will remain unchanged from last year with 2 rounds of Qualifying heats and a top 20 reverse grid final with passing points. The top 4 points scorers from Saturday nights heats and final will automatically qualify for the A and B Scramble for Sundays King of Australia Race. The highest points scorer from Saturday night will also have the honour of being awarded the Ellerfield Financial Planning Points King for 2014. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd on points from Saturday night and will also pay $200, $150 and $100 respectively. Night 2 will see another 2 rounds of qualifying heats with only the heat points carrying over from night 1. The top 12 point scorers from the heats will join the top 4 from night 1 to race in the scrambles to decide the starting order for the $1000 to win King of Australia. All other competitors will race off in the last chance B main for the final 4 positions. 21 nominations are on the list so far for Australia biggest 4 Cylinder Sedan Race the Cols Fiberglass King of Australia to be held at Fraser Shores Maryborough Speedway. With 31 car at the 4 Cylinder Super Series round at the last race meeting at Maryborough this meeting looks set to be even bigger.
