Know anyone who needs an awesome short-term sublet in San Rafael?? I have a downstairs unit up for grabs for anytime between 11/16 and the end of the month, with possibility of staying into December. You get a furnished bedroom, complete with beautiful altar, bed, loveseat, and closet that can be all yours...plus the rest of the downstairs unit: bathroom, sink and tea area, large dining/work area, and beautiful wrap around backporch. You can enter/exit through the backdoor/porch area, if you prefer to have more privacy....but you are also welcome to utilize the entire house (full upstairs with large open kitchen, dining area, living room, bathroom, two bedrooms, two goddesses, and 2 furry friends) as you would like. The downstairs is mostly quiet and all yours, though we do have a part-time housemate who occasionally comes and occupies the second bedroom downstairs. The pup that lives upstairs is a playful sweetheart; she also is a rescue, and sometimes needs some time adjusting to new people (though she tends to warm up to women right away), so if you are scared of dogs, this probably isnt the place for you. The house is in a quiet area within a few blocks (walking distance) of downtown san rafael, which has tons of cafes, bookstores, cute shops, yoga studios, etc. Within short driving distance, you get TONS of amazing hiking, nature, woods, creeks, Mt. Tam, stinson beach, etc. Its 20 minutes over the richmond bridge to the east bay, and 30-45 min into SF (depending where youre going and on traffic.) This is an awesome opportunity for someone who wants to try out living in Marin, without commitment but with potential to stay longer (there would need to be a conversation with the other housemates to discuss long-term options.) Monthly rent is $850; Im only asking $325 for the full 2 weeks. If youd like to stay for only part of the time, we can discuss that as well; Im open to charging per night depending on how long you need it, though the rate will be a little higher. Couples and pets are not ideal, just because the house is already pretty full, but PM me if you want to discuss this (and the price would go up a bit). We are hoping to find someone within our community, a friend or friend of a friend, though we are open to any conscious, CLEAN (!!!) souls who are willing to come out and meet the house ladies first.
