PAIN IN HEEL [Case is presented by Dr. Samadhan Ghule. Homeopathdrslg@gmail] One of my villager friends of 31 was suffering from pain in left heel since 5 month. Pain in left heel- lateral posterior half. Stitching pain. < Morning on waking while walking first few steps. < excess walking • History of blunt trauma to left heel. Associated symptoms: • Pain in left ring finger. • Pimples on back • Recurrent throat infection. • Crumbling toe nails. • Warts on neck-left side, and in axilla. • Lipoma on left thigh. Mind: Loquacious, dreamy, communicative, makes jokes during conversation(witty), ability to performs mimicries(imitation), fear of snakes, short tempered, revengeful, Love animals, Desire to wet in rain, desire loose clothing. Hot patient Thirsty Desire onion. Desire tea. Dreams of snakes, fighting, past events, death. Past history of epistaxis. o Discussion : o If we go with all these symptoms through the Repertory; we will get following differential medicines: Nat.mur, Sulphur, Lachesis, Nat.sulph, and Thuja. The rubric ‘witty’ rule out other differential medicines except Lachesis and Sulphur. The rubric ‘Imitation, mimicry’ rules out Sulphur. Rx Lachesis 200 stat. [single dose] Follow up after 2 month: Patient avoided to give follows up after a month because he felt better. Now again he was started same complaint of pain in hell then he consulted. He told new symptom - head-pain-drawing. Lachesis relived pain in heel for a month along with reduction in other complaints. Rx Lachesis 200 stat. [single dose] Follow up after a month: Lachesis relived pain in heel for 2 weeks. He told new symptom- backache. Lachesis was acting but not completely so I preferred Thuja as a complementary of Lachesis on the basis of following indications: • Extremities-Pain-feet-heel-left-stitching pain • Extremities-Nails; complaints of-distorted nails-Toenails • Back-Warts-Cervical region • Generals-Food and Drinks-onion-desire • Generals-Food and Drinks-tea-desire • Sleep-Position-side;on-left side;on • Head-pain-drawing pain Rx Thuja 200 stat.[single dose] Follow up after 1 month: -No pain in heel. - No backache. - No headache. -Patient better.
