#KnowThis Our Ark Of Covenant...THE BODY OF CHRIST: Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, But a body You have prepared for Me. (Hebrews 10:5 NKJV) Friends, I want you to know that the church of Christ is not like the old covenant of the Israelites. Its true though that you and I, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, (Ephesians 2:11-15 NKJV) • The living body of Christ is our ark of covenant, and what made is unique and superior to the old ark of covenant is that God does not desire our “Sacrifice and offering to keep holy; For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us...that you may be a new lump...For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. (Heb 9:24. 1Cor 5:7) • Whatever the ark of covenant was to the nation of Isreal, the body Jesus Christ is to the Church, even much more (Read Gal 3:13-14. Eph 1:3. Col 2:9-19); For ...the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat... (Hebrews 9:4-5 NKJV) + As the ark of the covenant was overlaid on all sides with gold, we are also overlaid with the gold-truth; Jesus the truth is our Gold - Jn 14:6; 16:13-15,33. + As in the ark was the golden pot that had the manna, we also have the body of Christ as our Bread of Life - Jn 6:30-69. + As in the ark was Aaron’s rod that budded, we also have in Christ Jesus the Light that shines more and more - Jn 1:1-5,16-17; 8:12. + As in the ark was the tablets of the covenant, we have also in Christ Jesus the new law written in our heart by the Spirit of God - Jn 13:34-35; 15:1-17. + And as above the ark were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, we also have obtained mercy and grace through Christ our High Priest, even the ministration of the Angels - Heb 1:1-14; 4;14-16. + The body of Christ has become our actual sin, curse, tithe, sacrifice, offering and everything to God. Thats why God commanded saying, This is [Jesus Christ] My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” (Matthew 17:5) > Jesus Christ of Nazareth has become everything for us to God, that no flesh should glory in His presence...that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the LORD.” (I Corinthians 1:29, 31 NKJV) • Do not be deceived, God is not pleased in anyone else but in His Son. And God is not pleased with anything from us but with faith in His Son; Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” (John 6:29 NKJV) > He is our Ark of covenant, our Mediator; For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus (I Timothy 2:5). And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15 NKJV) • When you believe in Jesus and continue in His word, then you are holy and “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV) > Are you part of this Ark of New Covenant?
