Knuckles is a big boy at 74 pounds but he was crying like a baby after he was surrendered to the SI Center with his housemate Venus fka Zena. They are very bonded and now they have been separated not only by a kennel but by a shelter. Knuckles, who is afraid in the shelter, did poorly on a couple of portions of his safer and was transferred to Brooklyn in order to grace the kill list. He is 4 years old and came in with his 8 year old housemate because their owners were moving and could not take them in to the new home. This handsome Lab/Pit mix is a bit unsure in his current environment. Knuckles most likely misses his home and his sister and finds little comfort in being apart from them. Knuckles is a nice dog, in a bad situation. He will die tomorrow unless a foster/adopter is found Please advocate for him tonight. Find him the home he needs. #nokillnyc rt
