Konkurs: Civil Rights Program in Kosovo (CRP/K) is humar rights based NGO and UNHCR implementing partner in legal assistance programs. CRP addresses legal issues related to refugees, asylum seekers, persons at risk and statelessness IDPs, returnees and vulnerable categories of Kosovo population. For our office in Prishtina we are seeking suitable candidates for the following vacant position. 1. Legal/RSD Officer 2 positions Duty station: HQ Prishtina The following conditions are required: University degree in Law Fluency in written and spoken english At least two years working experience in legal issues Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and familiar with internet and other software Valid driving licence Duties and responsibilities: Stay abreast of political, social economic and cultural developments that have an impact on the protection environment pertaining to person of concern to UNHCR Advocate for the and monitor the development and implementation of laws and doctrine pertaining to persons of concern to UNHCR. Provide legal advice on issues pertaining to persons of concern to UNHCR and drafting of reports and guidelines and pertinent legal and operational issues. Engage with external partners and stakeholders, including government, nongovernmental organisations, international organisations etc on issues related to legal protection principles and related international law. Handle individual cases and situations raising special questions on applications or interpretations of international law refugee and human rights law. Assist in the supervision and oversight of RSD and RSD related activities to promote full compliance with written standard operation procedures (SOPs). Conduct RSD interviews and draft RSD Assessments in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines. Maintain regular and up to date records and data related to all work on individual cases.
