Korbin has had another great day! We had some special visitors today! My and Jamies former teachers, Kevin and Crystal White stopped by to see us and deliver some Christmas cards and a poster signed by the Black Knights who will be playing for the state championship tomorrow. Good luck, Knights! Also we had some special people drop by the Ronald McDonald house to deliver some coke tabs on Korbins behalf and a card for us. Thank you Karen Rogers and family! We have a wonderful community and we are so grateful by the love we feel form everyone. Korbins counts are still dropping (they were super high and are taking a while to get back to normal) and hes feeling great. We gave him a regular bath in the tub today. He really needed it and I think it relaxed him because afterwards he took a very long nap! It could also be because he was up all night last night ready to start today lol! Silly boy. We had so much fun in the play room today making ginger bread houses. Im so grateful for the staff who keep us so busy. The days can be long and we are on day 38 of living in Texas hospital. We pray Korbin continue to improves and next week we may get to start our passes again! Wouldnt it be wonderful if we were out of the hospital on Christmas!? Im not getting my hopes up, but he will be done with his medicine on Dec. 23rd! Hopefully he continues to improve and the doctor is comfortable with discharging us since we will be 5 minutes away at the Ronald McDonald House. If not, it will still be a very Merry Christmas! I love this time of year and reflecting on the birth of Christ. Thank you for your prayers!
