Korea Tourism Organization participates as a solution provider in the Meeting Planners Russia 2014 visitkorea.ru Korea Tourism Organization (former International Tourism Corporation) was established in 1962.The organization promotes Republic of Korea as a tourist destination to attract foreign tourists. The main target for KTO in Russia is cooperation with Mass Media, tourist companies and other organizations to promote Korea as a perspective tourist destination. Exhibition activity,partnership development and information materials distribution are the main ways of achieving this goal. MICE is among the principal directions of tourism development for Republic of Korea. Korean unique ultramodern infrastructure allows holding international conventions of any subject and level of complicity that ranked Korea world’s 6th among other global player in 2011 according to the Union of International Associations. At the moment Korea offers 9 major convention centers and 3 new are going to be openedtill 2015. The gross area of convention centers is 304 802 m² and it is going to be expanded to 469 802 m² till 2015. All centers are conveniently integrated into major cities infrastructure that minimizes commuting time and allows to combine business meetings with cultural and entertainment events.
