Krazy Kool Caking Tip #74: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS! This means to REFRAIN from MEDDLING in other peoples affairs. What does this have to do with OUR OWN cake business? EVERYTHING! Have you ever noticed that as soon as we start meddling in other peoples business, all of a sudden we start to feel UNEASY and our PEACE starts to disappear? Im just going to go ahead and say it, but, ESPECIALLY in our caking community, there are A LOT of cakers out there with a BLACK BELT in MEDDLING. They always feel they need to PUT THEIR TWO CENTS IN. Youve read their posts, and youve heard about them. Theyre the ones that like to hang out in cake groups and blogs and SCARE EVERYBODY. Those posts spread like WILDFIRE! Why are there people like this? Its SIMPLE. They lead very boring and uninteresting lives so they have to create some sort of a soap opera to make their life a little bit more interesting. Ive realized that people that like to PUT FEAR in others, THEY THEMSELVES are AFRAID. There are things they WANT to do with their cake businesses, but are AFRAID TO, so the only thing they know to do is to SCARE everyone else to make sure that others DONT DO what THEY WANT TO DO. The BEST tip I can give all my wonderful fellow cake artists out there is MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, and DONT ALLOW OTHERS to start sticking THEIR NOSE in YOUR business. YOUR BUSINESS should be between YOU and God. Follow YOUR HEART and if youre ever UNSURE of WHAT TO DO, ask God for WISDOM. He gives it FREELY. Be a PURPOSE DRIVEN cake artist! YOU HAVE A PURPOSE! Thats to have a SUCCESSFUL cake business! Dont WASTE your time reading the opinions of people who will not BENEFIT you ONE IOTA!
