Kyle has had a good couple of days. As most of you know he was chosen Top 4 out of all the Kids out of St. Jude for a special trip. We couldnt say much about it because there was paperwork that had to be sent in. St. Jude was gonna fly the 4 of us & 3 other familys to Washington DC for a private tour of the white house. On the weekend of Sept. 20th to represent St. Jude for Childhood Cancer Awareness. St. Jude faxed all of the info to Washington yesterday & they got an email back last night from the secret service saying that they already had a cut off line. They couldnt accept anymore children to go. So St. Jude didnt get any of there children in to go. Secret service had such of overwhelming response from hospitals all of the world to send there children & so they were on the list first. Because its 65 familys from around the world accepted. So Kyle was REALLY upset. But like we told him, it was an honor to even be chosen for them to want him to represent them. Yes, it would have been an awesome once in a life time opportunity. We have been praying if it was Gods will then we would be honored to go, but with all thats going on right now is it really safe to go to DC. So yes we are a little upset but at the same time God knows whats best for us. So he said what can we do now since we not going to Washington, lol. We came home an hes now resting. I hope he wakes up feeling better about it. I hate he got so upset. But anyways we are going to have dinner tonight at Jackies Riverside with Mrs. Debra Scott & family.
