Created as a multicultural exchange, “Taste Europe!” will take place in Doftana Valley, Prahova county, Romania during 7 days (16-23 August 2013). The project will involve 20 youngsters and 5 leaders form 5 European countries (Turkey, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Romania). Workshops, debates and seminaries, learning by doing, games, brainstorming and other non-formal methods of education will be used in order to achieve the objectives stated before. Participants will find out information about eating customs in Europe, traditional food, culinary curiosities and also will learn how to cook and to make table arrangements. Also, they will make a campaign for promoting healthy food. The results of this campaign will be presented to the local community in a final event. This event will also include traditional dance and music from the participants’ countries, representing for community an opportunity of better knowing European countries.
