LEAD, FOLLOW or GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY The President, the Congress, Wall Street, K Street, the media, talk radio; they all stick their big noses, and big ideas into the people’s business. They’re more interested in the grandstand, than the homeland, and middle class America has ended up with a big problem. This will end with the passing of a comprehensive, community based, constitutionally grounded, main street proposal that begins restoring middle class Americans, their families, and the communities they call home. It’s the American Family and Community Rebuilding Act – AFCRA immediately: 1. Lowers the amount Social Security receives from millions of working Americans from $12.40 per $100 of income to approximately $4.00 per $100 of income 2. Eliminates SS tax overpayments; over the past few years 2.6 trillion retirement dollar overpayments (as much as 27% annually) was transferred to the general revenue fund, and used to subsidize the tax rates of the more fortunate, leaving behind a new 2.6 trillion dollar debt that middle class America is on the hook to pay again 3. Creates local member owned Community Investment Pods – CIPs (every congressional district will have at least one) that hold and manage retirement dollars 4. Creates new fully insured, worker owned, portable, and transferrable retirement estates for millions of working Americans ICIRAs 5. Funds rebuilding the nations crumbling infrastructure, one community at a time 6. Creates millions of new good paying, non-exportable local jobs 7. Eliminates trillions of dollars of current government held special obligation bond debt 8. Eliminates trillions more of future non-funded future retirement obligations 9. Creates local buffer zones between lobbyists and your elected representatives (no more behind closed door deals) 10. And finally fully funds current Social Security retiree benefits without revision until the day the retiree expires (grandpa/grandma – step up) Are you middle class?
