LET US PRAY by Yomi Ademuwagun DAY THIRTY ONE - PILLOWS OF COMFORT SCRIPTURE: “So they called Rebekah and asked her, Will you go with this man? I will go, she said. So they sent their sister Rebekah on her way, along with her nurse and Abrahams servant and his men. And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, Our sister, may you increase to thousands upon thousands; may your offspring possess the gates of their enemies. Then Rebekah and her maids got ready and mounted their camels and went back with the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left. Now Isaac had come from Beer Lahai Roi, for he was living in the Negev. He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel and asked the servant, Who is that man in the field coming to meet us? He is my master, the servant answered. So she took her veil and covered herself. Then the servant told Isaac all he had done. Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mothers death.” – Genesis 24:58-67 MESSAGE: Isaac must have been very devastated after the death of his mother, Sarah, because the Bible recorded that “Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife, and he loved her; and Isaac was comforted after his mothers death.” – Genesis 24:67. Beloved, in whatever difficult situation you find yourself there is a comforter somewhere. It took the prayers of Abraham and his servant (I am certain Isaac would have been praying too) for Rebekah to come forth. You should pray to God to send you comfort. Sometime ago, The Lord opened my eyes and I saw some pillows, dirty and languishing in the rain. The Lord asked me to pray for the comforters of the ministry He has committed into my hands so that the ministry would be easy. Pillows are meant for support and comfort. The Lord specifically made me identify some ‘pillows’. Soon after I began to intercede for them, one of the ‘pillows’ who had never paid tithe (not because s/he did not want to but because things were not going well) gave a tithe of over ten thousand dollars to the church. PRAYERS: 1. Lord, comfort all my comforters. 2. My comforters, receive Divine Empowerment. 3. My ‘Rebekah’, where have you been? Be released into my life. 4. Lord, commandeer all those you have ordained to make my life easy to gather themselves unto me and render their support to my life unreservedly and unconditionally 5. All my ‘pillows’ that are languishing in the storms of life, be recovered and restored by the Power of The Most High. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY – AMEN!
