She finished her last day of school after almost a decade of post secondary yesterday! Her commitment and determination has been an inspiration to me and hope it will for you. Her journey is her own and Im am in no shape or form saying she had it easier or harder than anyone, its her journey. Thanks to her parents for setting up a R.E.S.P. so she could have the funds to aid her in school tuition (what are you gonna have setup for your kids?). After her first 2 years in post secondary doing business, she switched majors and got her associates degree in psychology. She then realized that the end result in a arts degree wouldnt get her to where she wanted to be. She explored different careers interviewed friends and asked questions. That ultimately led her to Nursing, it was that or becoming a CDA. “To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping” -Chinese proverb She reached for the stars and chose to do a 4 year nursing program condensed into 3 years! Some would think thats hard, some would think thats simple. My point is when you want success bad enough you will get it! whether you think you can or cant, you are absolutely right -Henry Ford How bad do you want success, how bad you want to change your future, what are you willing to give up? When asked about training one man responded I hated every minute of but I said, Dont quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion CONGRATULATIONS OLIVIA YOURE A CHAMP!! Huge shout out Judy Wong who has always been there for her and truthfully is the one who really motivated her, not with words but in her own actions in her relentless pursuit of her MASTERS DEGREE!
