LG Smartphone powered by Firefox OS coming soon (probably in the early 2014) Speaking at an interview with a Bulgarian website Dnevnik.bg, LG’s Mobile Communications Executive in Bulgaria, Dimitar Valev, revealed that the company is working on multiple devices including a new tablet, smartphone, smartwatch and a Firefox OS smartphone, diversifying its software picture even. According to Valev, so far the open, web standards-based Firefox OS mobile platform hasn’t really had a champion among the core, big-name smartphone OEMs, so LG releasing one in early 2014 could really help boost its presence and visibility.
