[LIAM BROWN & THE POUNDS] Born in County Kerry, Ireland, Liam Brown came to the United States with his family as a child and settled in New York State. His father was a musician and Brown grew up surrounded by a musical family. Brown currently lives in Jersey City and he recently celebrated the release of his debut solo EP “The Local” and was the winner of the HMA (Hoboken Music Awards) outstanding male solo artist 2012. PlayMusician provides a platform for artists, both upcoming and established, to showcase their talent, ranging from singer /songwriters , photographers,comediens, dancers, solo artists, spoken-word/poetry, full bands and more.. We promote local artists and musicians by creating musical events with eclectic themes and showcasing them. Seasoned artists are matched with up and coming artists. We provide a comfortable, laid back venue with the intention of being a place where people can come together and enjoy local artists, and eventually becoming a staple in the community.
