LIFE A SKELETON In a cupboard standing with scare jaws, Better - TopicsExpress

LIFE A SKELETON In a cupboard standing with scare jaws, Better hidden under key and lock kept in draws. Many of us have the same, We try but we cant tame. From the love stories we once told in hushed sounds, The bad days we try to put out of shame around our compounds. But noone is perfect, often told ourselves with straight necks Excuses is what we always give for missing our steps and breaking the delicate ties. A story once told of the wise old tortoise shading under a cracked shell Beneath us are broken bones we call skeletons Our vision blurred The story of a fast shrewed hare A tale of the tricky cheaky squirrel Dig holes and bury ourselves Do we smell? Silently murmuring, singing dirges from owls Scared of ourselves, We take long baths, Hiding ourselves,we wear glass, covering the shame of our image beneath the damned pieces of rugs. Are we ugly? Asking many questions trying to know. Are we afraid? Playing with caution, lacking the understanding, missing the language with greenlights. No zebracrossing not knowing. Are we dump?
