LOVE LIGHT DEVOTIONAL. DAY 47 TOPIC - THE COMMANDMENT OF LOVE And bow abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of them is charity. 1 Corinthians 13:13 In the Greek, the charity is referred to as Love. The highest level that any man can ever operate in here on earth is the level of love. God so loved the world that is why He gave us Jesus Christ who was His only begotten son at that time. Christianity is not a religion but a foolish relationship that ends up making a lot of sense. I know the previous statement may seem to be contradicting but it is true. Look at it this way, if a man loves his wife so much, he would be willing to give her anything that makes her happy. In like manner, when you love God, you will do things that will not make sense to an unbeliever or to a carnal Christian. A good example was when God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac and Abraham complied without any waiver of his trust in God. Love can go any length, it can give up/sacrifice whatever seems dear or of great importance/value. In John 4:17, the Bible says herein is our love made perfect that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as He is, so are we in this world. That is a very powerful scripture. The way God is in heaven is how we are on earth and because He is love, we are also Love. Therefore, let all we do be an expression of how deep our love runs for Him. The greater our love for God, the more we will want to please Him; the greater our love for Him, the more well show people love. Life without Love is no life at all. Life is interesting because people express love. Express godly love (Agape) rightly and make it your way of living and enjoy the highest level of operations. Love you!
