Its hard to believe why no one came to get Lugo out of that cramped crate at Brooklyn ACC. This 5 year old has tried his very best to be the good boy that all can see he is. During his medical he is described as “easy to handle” and was found to be in good health. Of course, he’s already caught the shelter “cold”. And during his behavioral eval only 2 days after he got to the shelter, Lugo was still so scared. But he pulled all 1’s and 2’s and when that strange dog came into the room, Lugo “was relaxed” when he approached the dog. So scared, gorgeous, a grown up dog—all that leads to tomorrow’s euthanasia list for Lugo. Tonight, Lugo needs that one person who can just picture him in their living room, picture him on long walks through the neighborhood, picture him playing with some new toys, picture him relaxing in a safe place.
