Ladies and gentlemen, I am sad to report the loss of my former wife Marie. Most people were amazed that Marie (Maria) became good friends with my wife Nancy. It was a great testimony of the grace and forgiveness that comes with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which they both had. Our family events included everyone and I received so much of which I deserved so little. Marie and I were married in Yonkers, New York in 1964 when I was a young 20 year old Lance Corporal. She was a fine Marine wife which endured all the hardships of my many deployments with involved going to Vietnam twice. She raised our two children for the most part by herself. Our son and daughter have both become the husband and wife most hope to have. Together we have six grandchildren; one in his third year of college in my alma mater, UCI, a freshman in college and a freshmen in high school. I told her before she died that she will certainly live on in the memory of each and every one of them. I am indeed blessed to have been married to this women. Roy
