Ladies and gentlemen, after some minimal research it has come to my attention that we all need to take a second and put on our tin foil hats. For Jörmungandr Mining Corps sake. Bear with me here, I have a theory. So all of you fabulous wastelanders have had to deal with having to change your Facebook names due to legitimacy, correct? Well I have a theory for why this is. Many of you may remember that the Terms of Service were changed back on November 15th for facebook. (source: https://facebook/legal/terms). This was to streamline advertisements and sales through the Facebook interface instead of using links to other websites. Imagine like an Amazon+Facebook conversion if you will. How are they supposed to collect data on you to show you products you should buy AND connect a credit card to those sales without your real name? My tin foil hat theory is that facebook is attempting to turn itself into more of a social network store that uses your information to better advertise AND NOW get the buy button closer to you than before. Betting $10 right now that within the next year, you can connect your credit card to Facebook the same way Amazon does, so long as your social network name matches your credit card name.
