Lakes Governor Names Cabinet The Lakes state military caretaker Governor Maj- Gen Matur Chut Dhuol last night announced a new cabinet with most of the former ministers being retained. RUMBEK, - Lakes state cabinet only brought in three new faces. The majority of members who were relieved last Friday managed to come back. The new faces include; Nikima Ater Toric, the Economic Advisor, Achol Abil Aguek, the Minister of Social and Rural Development and Dr. Majok Malek, the Minister of Health. The new cabinet include; 1. Mr. Mabor Achol Kuer, Deputy Governor and a Minister of Education 2. Mr. Laat Mathou Aleu Local government and Law enforcement Agency 3. Mr. Joseph Maker Madit, Finance, Trade and Industry 4. Mr. Dut Makoi Kuok, Information and Communication 5. Mr. Daniel Chol Koknyin, Physical Infrastructure 6. Dr. Majok Malek, Minister of Health replacing Daniel Gumwel Nhomabur 7. Mr. Madong William Mading, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Animal and Fisheries, replacing Baipath Majuec Rilpuou 8. Mr. Mariam Paul Jibi, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sport 9. Mrs. Achol Abil Aguek, Minister of Social and Rural Development, replacing Andrew Acijok Yak 10. Mr. Aguer Dut, commissioner of Headquarter The advisors include; 1. Hon. Dut Malual Arop, political affairs 2. Hon. Santo Domic Kocrec, Security 3. Hon. Nikima Ater Toric, Economic 4. Hon. Ezekiel Thiang Mangar, Peace and Reconciliation 5. Hon. Alfred Abiar Wol, border for Central Equatoria state 6. Hon. Alfred Mayen Maciek, technical advisory in secretariat general The new cabinet does not meet the South Sudan ruling party policy of appointment women to fill the 35% affirmative action.
