Lakki Marwat University: A committe constituted by the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, to give the need assessment report for establishing a University in Distt Lakki Marwat held its first meeting today in the office of Principal Govt Post Graduate College, Lakki. I also attended as member of the committee alongwith officials from Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, HED, KPK and VC Bannu University. Positive need assement report was submitted recommending a separate University in Lakki Marwat as first priority. Initially 4 subjects/departments (including Agriculture) were named to be started. ..... ..... We hope that HEC and KPK Govt will also expedite the process and grant the Charter to Lakki University along with providing finances..... Best of Luck to Marwats
