Lalit Modi elected RCA president Despite BCCI ban, Lalit Modi was elected RCA president on Tuesday, an announcement that is sure to set off another legal battle between the two cricket boards. NM Kasliwal, the Supreme Court-appointed observer for the elections held on December 19 last year, declared the winners at the RCA Academy in Jaipur. The boards lawyers had already conceded that the banned Modi had won by a landslide margin and had warned that action could be taken against the RCA and cricketers affiliated to it if the former BCCI vice-president is allowed to take charge.
