Lamb Liver Update. The pâté turned out well and Eli likes it. Im guessing it will be my liver preparation of choice. Soaked the remaining liver in milk overnight, breaded it with a simple flour/salt/pepper mix and pan fried it....not cooking it too long. Served that with fried eggs and toast and the more I ate, the better I liked it. Eli tried a bit and first said tastes like stinky socks (pretty sure he got that idea from a damn cartoon :-/ ), but then he had another taste and at least finished one bite without a contrary reaction. Nancy didnt try any and Piglet LOVED his share. Dont think Ill be eating any re-heated portions but at least I know the dog will eat it so it wont go to waste. Unless one is a big liver fan, Im thinking the leftover consumption will be virtually non-existent. Well see how I feel next time around with the fresh liver from this years lamb.
