Lao-Tzu didnt get involved in politics during ancient times, at least not when the states were at war, and he was one of the greatest sages to ever live. There is no right or wrong either way; you can contribute and fulfill your role in your own way without being involved in politics, or if you feel like you can affect a positive outcome then go for it. Just make sure its founded on truth and if you talk a big game about integrity then make sure you have it. I remember Marianne posted something a year or so ago about how shes better with the big things but she has ego problems with small things. Your whole life and your expansion is all connected. You cant do bad things to people in your private life and do good in the world. Thats hypocrisy just like a politician.
