Las Brisas in Apple Valley was in our opinion ok. When you first walk into the patio area, it looks nice. Unfortunately the patio was not an option for us to sit at. Once you walk inside there was an awful smell. Luckily once you get closer to the seating area it goes away. Not sure why it smells before you get to the seating area, but its not appealing at all!! If I wasnt with my family I would have walked out. Once seated, they start you off with chips and salsa. The salsa wasnt good. Was spicy, but with no actual flavor. We asked for table side guacamole. You can pick what you want in it. The choices are tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic powder, salt and lime juice. I wish I would have said no to the garlic powder, that kind of ruined the guacamole for me. Everyone else seemed to like it. My brother and I ordered the shrimp cocktail and it was good. Had plenty of shrimp, some avocado, jalapeño, and not a grip load of onion, tomato or cilantro. Didnt come with enough lime. We had to ask for extra lime twice, but then again we like extra lime in our shrimp cocktail. My sister in law ordered the carnitas plate. Comes with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. The carnitas tasted like chicharones which we are huge fans of, so we all loved it. Rice and beans are good too. My husband and son ordered the crab and shrimp enchiladas. The sauce on the enchiladas was ok. We have had better, but we did like the amount of crab and shrimp it contained in the enchiladas. Also comes with rice and beans. Because it was my birthday I got a free fried ice cream and they sang happy birthday. We all shared it and LOVED it. Thats the only thing I took a picture of. Sorry. The pricing did seem high in my opinion. I would definitely go back to order a shrimp cocktail, but thats it. Like I said we all thought it was ok. It wasnt awful, but we didnt LOVE it.
