Last Friday, I met with key community stakeholders to discuss Abbotsford’s Comprehensive Community Action for Gang Reduction Project, a crime prevention project entering its second year in Abbotsford aimed at helping at-risk youth. I am very pleased to see that the $6.4 million in funding announced by our Government last year is helping community partners take concrete action to support at-risk youth in Abbotsford. Along with our partners, we are taking steps to provide at-risk youth and their families with the tools and opportunities they need to steer clear of crime and live in a safe community.
