Last day of hunting on Yeehaw Farm yesterday. (I guess it was so memorable that it called for selfies in the hunting shack.) It was the last day of Crankys cronies invading our house and farm at the ass crack of dawn. It was the last day of Crankys cronies taking their morning constitutionals in MY bathroom and clogging up the toilet. It was the last day of the 2014 Yeehaw Farm Hunt Club. (Thank God.) Yeehaw Farm Hunt Club membership is solely based on what food you will bring to the two week hunting escapade. Membership is not based on how well you can shoot a gun because obviously, there are a few gun rangers in Crankys club that should have their gun hunting rights revoked. Not mentioning names, of course but Herb and Shuey may want to refresh their gun skills in the next year or...they may get kicked out. The argument that they are two of the founding members wont hold up in court because some of the new blood (pictured here) want them out. My 13 year old Boo Man, who I hadnt seen for almost 14 hours yesterday, even though we were on the same farm, gave me a hug last evening. I sensed a bit of I missed my momma, hunting season was rough this year and Im glad its over. in his hug. While hugging Boo, I asked him how his last day hunting went? Boo Man replied, AZ brought chicken corn soup today, which was good but he brought unsalted Saltines to go with it. Who does that? And there ya go. A question that needs an answer and I aint got nothin. The twelve days of the 2014 Yeehaw Farm Hunt Club season can be easily summed up with eleven Pennsylvania hunting licenses, four toilet cloggings, three bags of Twizzlers, only four dead deer, ten million loads of ammo used...eh, that maybe a bit of an exaggeration, lets say three million loads of ammo, one huge pile of hunting clothes laundry, and one pot of chicken corn soup served with Saltines that didnt have salt on them.
