Last month sadly CUBO moved to Lisboa. We had chosen Caldas as our home and were happy there, but realities are not always as we guess. During one full year of our activity, we had many good and very few unwanted bad experiences. During our stay in Caldas we had the chance to meet many wonderful young people who accept us as their friend. I would like to send our special thanks to this lovely fellows who generously support and accept us as their friends, Lusmarina and Thomas Schittec, Karolien van Eck and João Neves, Alden Couto, Ana Margarida Cotrim and Pedro Cardoso, Lina Cruz and Ivo Figueiredo, and many more who support us during last year, We tried our best to get absorbed and excepted in your small community by joining the groups, gatherings, markets Etc, we offered free work space and exhibitions also arranged movie nights to screen rare award winner movies for creating a friendly warm corner to young art lovers and intellectuals in Cubo, we offered free portrait sessions to everbody.... Unfortunately wed never got even close to what we were thinking, it may be because of small and closed comunity, financial crises, our age or more importantly the black shadow of some residents of SILOS who kept people away from Cubo. In our opening night combining with a photo exhibition by Rui Palha one of the best and well respected street photographers, over 100 of our friends came from far cities and Lisboa but the other 400 visitors were mostly local young students who were out in Caldas Late Night event and by curiosity paid a visit to our space. But, I am sure one day we will be back to live in Caldas da Rainha maybe not for work but because of your beautiful little town and small circle of our good friends. Until then, Graça and Ahmad
