Last night (Friday) we went to a wonderful concert - Colin Hay, formerly lead singer/songwriter for Men At Work. Small venue, 300 people, packed house, at Largo at the Coronet on La Cienega. Magical performance, Three, yes THREE full-house standing ovations. Brilliant songs, and Hay was in fine form - whimsical stories, laughter, and for several numbers accompanied by his lady Cecilia Noel (an "emerging TIna Turner" singer and salsa dancer from Peru. Colin had the crowd in the palm of his hand, and did several encores. It was a night we are thrilled we had the privilege of enjoying.
