Last night God surprised me with an angel! My close friend Melissa Consin Young (Miss Wisconsin USA 2005) who has been fighting for her life found the strength to come surprise me and watch my final walk as Miss Wisconsin USA! I am humbled and so beyond blessed to have this woman in my life. I came on stage toward the end of the show to pass out awards and there she was as beautiful as ever sitting right in the front row with Chelsea Cooley Altman. After spotting her I lost it. Chelsea, there are no words to express my gratitude for your help. Melissa you are my hero, role model, and I aspire to be as strong as you are someday! I LOVE YOU beyond measure and your spirit is remarkable! Last night was the most miraculous night of my life, and Melissa surprising me is the best gift Ive ever received! God is so good!
