Last night I posted how a bunch of little troubles piled up & turned into a Big Nasty day. Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today... (Exodus 14:13) While my situation couldnt compare to what was going on here as the Israelites had Pharaohs Army behind them & the Red Sea in front, but spiritually we are in this situation often. There was no way out for Israel except UP & thats exactly where their help came from. We are moving forward in our daily stuff, following The LORD, while trouble is all around us. Some of them cried out to Him as their fear brought them to prayer & this was good. God brings us into tight places that are meant to bring us to our knees. Others cried out & fear fired up their horrible complaining, totally forgetting the miracles God had just been performing for them that got them out of Egypt. Our unbelief is an ugly, disgusting sin. Every time we dont trust our issues to Him, we sin. When we cant get out of our troubles, we get above our fear of them by crying out to Him. I found myself doing exactly that last night & not only did He calm me, but within an hour, I saw 2 different situations fall under His control. They had actually BEEN in His control, but my eyes werent seeing it. He reminded me where my confidence & faith & hope was to rest. When I woke up today, other situations from the pile were still in front of me & I carried what He showed me from the day before, prayed & gave my day to Him & headed toward my little Red Sea. The amazing thing is while the troubles were still there, He changed my actions & reactions to them & miraculously, horrible was as if it was not, the impossible was possible...thats The LORD! Thats how He takes care of His people. Its not behavior management, white knuckled self improvement...its Believing HE is able. If God brings His people into a tight spot, He will make a way to bring us out. For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
