Last night, I ran to the grocery store, exhausted after doing yard work all day. I just wanted a couple of things but really wanted to find a way to make a difference. I remembered that I had a stack of pre-written post-its in my purse so I scattered them throughout the store. Being so tired, this was SUCH an easy thing to do!! It totally rejuvenated me when I stood back and watched people as they approached the post-it. They said something like this, You are awesome. Yes, you! Join our fun at FB Group Sparks of Kindness!. I saw a tired looking mom with a baby on her hip, 2 toddlers in the cart and one child running around. She read it, looked all around, looked at it again and smiled. Looking around once more, she picked it up and put it in her pocket, smiling. TI left another by the milk that said, You are beautiful, just the way you are! Join our FB fun at Sparks of Kindness and got the same reaction when an elderly lady in a wheelchair came by. We never know what is going on in someones life and maybe they just need that spark of kindness to get them going. Maybe she was alone on Thanksgiving, maybe the young mom had just got off a 12 hour shift....who knows. Whatever the case, we can make a difference, even if only for a moment.
