Last night I was dreaming as though the colonial era was (in the Zimbabwean situation)more tolerable than the post colonial era ...why... the reason being very simple and unacceptable(at first glance) though, but to those whose minds are like the prism of glass refracting colors passing through ,could with meticulous attention analyse and find it not plausible inasmuch as crediting it with a degree of efficacy........colonialists were ,with no scepticism,racists ,segregatory ,tyranical,...and that lead us to fight with that cause in our minds ,so in this case(in comparison) given the differences in all dimension of life between the whites and blacks ,we could at this particular moment -a little bit- exonerate the whites for being reluctant to cede power to blacks.......so ,what if a black Zimbabwean becomes so parsimony with power like that, amidst its covetness by the fellow black Zimbabweans whom you fought the struggle together with ....then in a desperate bid to figure out the gist of this ,I woke up and I was late for the lecture.........
