Last night I went to a fantastic networking event. I met some great people and there was just one thing - I was greeted with skepticism that the engineering and IT types can be successful in the non-technical world. In the famous words of Barney Stinson (How I Met Your Mother) CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! The following started off as engineers: Alfred Hitchcock, Presidents Hoover and Carter, Mr Bean and Ashton Kutcher. I would have included Brian May from Queen but his degree is only in astrophysics. Know any more?
